ANKER GaNPrime 65W 3-Port Wall Charger with USB-C to USB-C Cable

Small and compact but capable of charging my Dell XPS13 (and at the same rate as the charger it came with) - very handy to have around and now carry it in my bag as my main phone and laptop charger rather than having one for each. Gets mildly warm but nothing concerning, unlike others I have used in the past. Useful to have one USB-A port along with the USB-C ones. I see there's an even more powerful 120w version but honestly that seems like overkill for most situations (and I would be slightly worried by the heat dissipation as it looks to be the same size). GaN chargers always seem to be a hit and miss with me, this one seems well built, but it seems unerpowered, it is not be able to handle a single 12V 3amp mini PC without cutting out all the time, that is not good for a 65w charger with nothing else connected. That is only 36 watt, no other devices connected and it cannot handle it. The uGreen Nexode 65W can handle a single 12V 3 amp mini PC and is actually cheaper.

It also cannot deliver 5amp at 5V either with the raspberry pi 5 complaining it's underpowered, which the official 27W pi charger can. I don't think this GaN charger is all that great for a 65w charger. I bought this while out of town because I had forgotten my laptop adapter. I now don’t bother taking the laptop adapter when I’m working elsewhere, because this is so much lighter and more compact. Recommend also buying a high current USB-C to USB-C cable if you are thinking of doing the same. The bundled USB-A to USB-C cable doesn’t quite cut it for keeping a laptop awake.
