Overall I am very happy with this device, It provides fast and stable data transfer rates, however If you are using this device to connect a mouse and keyboard it will take around 30 seconds after startup for the computer to register the device. If this is what you are wanting to use this for, I would look at an alternate solution, outside of that it works great! Not a bad design, but poor build quality and little to no product testing.
I had to re-solder the USB3 cable to make it work otherwise it would fluctuate between on and off.

Pbtech you need to tell the manufacturer to get their stuff together.

Sometimes some ports work and not others, sometimes all work. When it doesn't work, the ports not working seem to be random. Also, by powering on or off other ports not in use one port with my device can start working, but not always. Not happy. Using windows 10. I have had a usb hub before but the usb cable from the hub to computer was loose and often failed, that was until I purchased this hub. It's brilliant, has not failed me yet and the fact it has 4 x usb 3 and 3 x usb 2 so I don't have to use all my MSI usb ports is great. Works well and does what it's supposed to do.
But not all ports work well, my hard drive is only recognized on port 6 and my webcam on port 1,2,3 or 7. Not sure if this is by design or my computer is having a problem with the device on that port. Would be nice if the adapter power cord was longer like a standard laptop charger length as it's only about 1M. Works well and does what it's supposed to do.

Bought this to connect to Intel Compute stick which converts my tv to Windows10 computer. The mbeat USB-M43HUB allows me to add external hard drives etc to increase computer hard drive capacity As the Compute stick only has 2 USB ports and 32GB storage capacity this is a necessity and works extremely well.
