Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 WINDFORCE OC V2 6GB GDDR6 Graphics Card

I needed to upgrade my old GeForce Quattro graphics card to enable faster editing and masking in Photoshop/Lightroom. New features introduced by Adobe meant my old card was struggling. I am not a gamer so I selected a graphics card that used PCIe 4 and did not need a separate power cable. The RTX 3050 was perfect for my needs. Installation was very simple (it had to be with almost zero instructions) and the card was recognised by Windows immediately. The RTX 3050 does support a lot of new games, but nothing I will ever use. With a price tag under $400 I now have a upgraded PC that supports everything I need it to do. bought this as replacement for old R9290 card. Good general card that I use for my sons PC. Drivers have nice visual filters which is a bonus. It offers a noticeable performance boost, runs cool and quiet, and easily handles my multi-monitor setup—all without demanding a high-wattage PSU. A great choice for general use and productivity. There are special features this Gigabyte RTX 3050 has.
3D active fan. The fan does not need turn on until GPU temperature reaches 60 C. And when the the temperature cools down to 40 C, the fan will stop. Keeping noise down and save more electricity, while you work on light activities.
The overclock OC V2 reaches 1965Mhz ! from base clock 1477Mhz
It doesn't require much power, even old PC can upgrade to this, need PCIe of course. For existing newer computer, no need to change power supply. No other modern GPU with modern features, run with 300 W PSU

Performance is good, for the price, of course. DLSS looks good certainly. Ray tracing depends on the game, either low or medium. Most of the games difficult to see the ray tracing, possibly not suited to some type of games, so no need worry about this aspect.
6GB model slower than 8GB, but CUDA, RT and Tensor cores are not much lower.
