Works Prefectly
I purchased this for my MacBook pro to plugin a 1GB network cable and it works perfectly, of course I was a dummy not reading the big red sticker on it telling mac users to install a driver but once that was done, lightning fast and totally reliable.
Does what the box says
Great product.
Works perfectly with my Google Chromecast with Google TV allowing me to add additional usb storage and a hard wired ethernet connection.
Not great
Very unstable piece of technology. Keeps turning on/off randomly as you try and work your mouse and keyboard. I would not recommend to buy this. Spend a bit more and get some quality.
Depends what you want it for
I was after a powered hub and had ordered another one which was out of stock. Regret not waiting on that. Bought this one on advice from store. Not powered. It's fine but it comes with a big red sticker warning Mac users to STOP until the driver is completely installed. I stopped, tried to install the driver, found I couldn't do it (running Catalina) - contacted their support - who finally said the driver was only an issue if I was using the ethernet port. I wasn't so it was ok but that sticker is really confusing. If I'd wanted the full capability I would have been out of luck because the workaround support recommended did not actually work.view more

Better than stated
I haven't had any issues with this whatsoever. I also noticed that my mouse cursor was kind of smooth on my 4k screen, it turns out it's pumping out 4k@60hz, most peculiar!

Converts Great, Power Conversion Poor
Can either have power or internet but not both at the same time through the converter. Doesn't convert a strong enough power output through to the laptop when in use.
Works OK
Needed this for my MacOS, HDMI and plug in mobile work fine but the RJ45 doesn't feed through, May be a unit fault but my Toshiba adapter works for RJ45 so I use them both!
Don't buy this
Flickering screen and overheats and just stopped working after a year.

Good bang for buck
We needed a USB-C adapter for occasional use with Ethernet for a wired setup. Does the job on a budget.
