Worked a Treat
This was a replacement unit for my Digitech Adapter that was not working any longer and it did the job perfectly.
I have always had excellent results from any StarTech products that I have purchased.
Surprisingly Good
Did a great job of allowing me to access a range of SSD and HDD devices. The cable is robust and easy to use. The USB interface feels a little slow when transfering large quantities of data, but other than that it works very well.

Works as intended. Highly recommend for salvaging old IDE HDD data.
Great Product Happy Does Everything & More
If you need to get info of old disks no matter what disk type this is your product easy plug and play I didn't even need to install any software. Thanks team PB Tech. :)
Great product
Worked flawlessly on Windows 10
Used it to recover files from a mix (total of 9) of IDE & SATA drives from different vendors and capacities.
Excellent machine.
Very handy ... used it to find lots of old files/ photos on an old drive.

I just love a product that does what it says. If you have old HDDs, this is the perfect and easy way to move your data to the latest technologies or cloud.

Spot on - worked exactly as expected
Purchased this to assist a friend in transferring his data from an old desktop computer to a new laptop.
Decided to use this to get good speeds instead of using data network.
I was pleasantly surprised at the transfer speed from an old 3.5 inch spinning hard drive to a new laptop via USB 3.
Once the drive was connected, I just plugged the USB into the new computer and it picked it up first go and mounted it as an external drive.
Lights on it confirmed it was operating too which is great.

Works like a charm
I was given a few drives by family/friends to see if I could recover data from them as the machines they were originally in had gotten damaged. At first I thought about slaving them inside my computer, but that would have been quite a hassle so I looked around and found this product. It works exactly as it says and saves having to pull a case apart to plug drives in. It's a tad on the expensive side but worth it at the end of the day.
