I wanted to create a setup that was easy for me to switch between my laptop and ps4 between a single monitor
This worked really well with an easy click of a button It can also detect which source is on and automatically chooses that port to turn your screen on if your screen has an auto-on capability.

It is a must have! However it does not hate a way to stick it or attach it to a surface so you have to be smart where you place it. If you need to switch between two hdmi sources on one output, or switch one source between two outputs, this is the hdmi switch for you (unless you need ultra hi-def > 4k). This HDMI switch does everything exactly and as simply as you expect. You press a button and it switches between input sources. With pass though Audio, 4K 60hz just like on the box.

However I'm using this device to sit on a desk behind my keyboard with a Freeview A7070 plugged into it. But the input cables come in one side with the output on the opposite side, making the switch in line, so it never sits nice on my desk. I would imagine most people to want to use it in a similar way, and there just doesn't seam to be a way of having it accessible and tidy. I found this device to be a piece of genius. Not only does it go from a single out put source to 2 input devices, it also goes the other way from 2 output devices to a single input device. I have a LED projector with one HDMI input and I have managed to connect a laptop and my SKY box into it and with a press of the button on the HDMI device, I can switch from one input to another and back again. I truly love this it makes what I want to see easier than taking one plug out and putting another plug in. It is worth the price for it and I never regret buying it. It certainly comes in handy. I bought this so I could switch one of my external monitors between 2 computers.
It works a treat.
It's smaller than I expected (which is good, takes up less room on my desk)

I purchased this to allow me to swap between my computer monitor and a display graphics tablet without constantly having to unplug cables from my PC's one HDMI port. Seems to work well and the price point is quite good, however this gets a lower rating because I had to order two, as the first one I ordered was completely missing from the box because the manufacturer forgot to put it in completely. Perhaps my case was simply a one-off, but in any case, this was quite inconvenient and I'm hoping there's better quality control for this kind of thing in the future so this can be further prevented.
