Following on from the award-winning A9010, this top quality amplifier gives power and detail that all-in-one speaker systems can't match. With inputs for five sources, including a turntable plus subwoofer and headphone outputs, there's also effortless versatility on offer - wherever your system takes you.
Putting music first
At the heart of this amp is Onkyo's Wide Range Amplifier Technology (WRAT). Combined with a high-current transformer and large output capacitors, this gives the A9110 powerful and dynamic sound. When the music becomes more intense, the A9110 has the power to keep up. Detailed engineering enhancements, such as a discrete output stage and optimum gain volume control also mean this amp doesn't miss any detail - for audio accuracy it leads its class.
Tune the sound with Direct Mode and Bass Boost
For the most pure and precise sound, simply select Direct Mode. This bypasses all but the most critical circuits, to give the lowest distortion possible. If you'd prefer a boost to the bottom end, then Phase Matching Bass Boost will do this for you, without the distortion issues you'd get with a conventional 'loudness' control. Bass and treble controls are also standard.
Connect it all - including your turntable
Four line level inputs and a phono input let you easily connect up a whole system. For private listening, there's a headphone socket. Prefer more bass? Then simply connect your choice of active subwoofer to the dedicated sub output.
New display
New to the A9110 is an illuminated display. Easier to see, especially in low light levels, the new display is practical as well as stylish.
Built to last
One thing that hasn't changed is Onkyo's superior build quality. Constructed from anti-resonant, 1.6mm thick metal, the chassis resists vibrations and electrical interference - giving a purer, less distorted sound. The controls operate smoothly, with everything you need on the front panel - ideal when the remote control isn't always to hand.
