Eneloops have been my go-to batteries for nearly a decade. I've tried many other brands, only to have them pop, overheat, short-life themselves, and just plain suck. These batteries are awesome. These are my go-to rechargeable battery. I have them with a Nitecore charger (originally bought from PB, sadly no longer available) which is good at telling when a battery is about to die, and while I've written off various Energiser and other brand batteries as they have aged and died, but *all* my Eneloops from even more than 10 years ago are still working well.
No wonder Panasonic bought the whole company (Sanyo) because of these batteries!

I was a bit skeptical at the beginning with these batteries but after trying them and use them on my kid's toys I can see that they hold enough power better than standard commercial batteries out there. The batteries worked well when first included in the appliance. However, they don't seem to hold their charge when needing to be recharged, and this occurred from the first time to recharge.
