Un packaged; Topped Up; and installed in device. Performance was as expected. 2nd Cycle appears similar. It's too early to verify how many charge/discharge cycles these batteries are capable of, still delivering usable power, but experience with this brand's lower capacity batteries suggests they will perform well. I understand there is some clever chemistry involved in the manufacture. The result is a steady voltage for longer. Break even against alkaline is about 10 charge cycles. The lower cell voltage 1.2v vs 1.5v is not an issue as the equipment I am using is not dependent on the higher voltage. One important feature is compliance with standard battery dimensions. 'Other Brand' rechargeables are slightly too big, which creates connection problems. Size discrepancy is an issue with no name or 'house' brands. PB Tech is a good place to purchase. Price is slightly lower and sales volume means product will be fresher. As with all chemical reaction products, shelf life is limited. Buy with confidence here! The stock has not been gathering dust. I am also happy with click and collect service.

These batteries have more power than standard eneloops. I have used them for years. I keep charged ones in a drawer (they keep their charge for ages) so I can immediately replace run down batteries. And put the run down ones straight in a decent La Crosse charger (slow charging at 200 mAh is best) to re-stock the drawer. These batteries have more power than standard eneloops. I have Eneloop in everything that drains a bunch of power and the Pro series do seem better! Off the top of my head they are rated to 1.2v however a high drain device I have that wouldn't work with other rechargeable batteries of the same rating works with the eneloop pros inside!
