I bought this cable with a new monitor and I am really happy with it. It was cheaper than buying an adapter, so I'm a happy chap. I needed the Cruxtec 2m DisplayPort to HDMI Cable to drive my 1080 HD monitor from a PC that I borrowed for a particular job. The cable worked perfectly, and I was amazed how cheap it was. It's a functioning cable, what more could you ask for?

bear in mind it is only display port 1.2 so you'll only get 4k 30hz, but you can still get 1440p 144hz out of this cable

I have an older monitor and a newer graphics card so this works well without having to mess around with an adapter. I imagine this would work well with a newer monitor and an older graphics card but haven’t tested this for myself.
