I should have paid more attention to the warning that it was NOT as pictured as another reviewer mentioned. It's just a shrink wrapped coil so yes needlessly messy to work with. But I'm actually more concerned now that it might have been CCA or CCS wire. I can't find the word Copper anywhere in the spec? If it's not solid, it's inappropriate for long term/fixed installation. It's also not shielded which I'd expected from anything labelled as CAT6. There are cables rated as solid copper else where on the site, just specified on this one - happy to be shown wrong, but buyers beware. This is a good quality cable. It is pure copper, and it solid stranded. It is NOT Copper Coated Aluminium. I have checked with Dynamix and they don't generally ever sell cable that is copper-coated aluminium - there are a few exceptions in some short patch cables but anything Dynamix is generally good and those few Dynamix cables that are Copper Coated Aluminium (CCA) are very openly and clearly labelled as "CCA".
