The cable that came with my new mobile didn't survive a fall from the fast charger to the carpeted floor. The phone was fine. The "C" tip was literally torn from the cable leaving exposed wires. So I googled, found several recommendations and decided to go for this one because it was highly recommended as being far more robust and made for fast chargers. Good length as well ... and easy to see because I got another one for charging in the car and I can see it. 10 our of 10. I bought 2 of these about a month ago, they do the job and charge well. I had mine plugged into a battery pack when it fell and the end snapped off.
