It's exactly what every other reviews say, EOS 1500D is a great beginner camera. The settings are explained well and it's not that hard to learn Manual as well. The lens is also decent but you'll soon find yourself pretty limited as you explore more and more. In the end, you'll have to get one of the Prime Lens or any other lens that might suit your need. Overall, it's a great camera and I can't really complain too much since it's focused more towards the new people who are getting their start in Photography. Bought this as an entry into trying my hand at photography. Have been using it now for a couple of weeks and am absolutely loving it so far. It has a handy guide on screen to explain the different settings and get you familiar with what everything does. Takes great photos and the battery seems to perform quite well too. This camera is great for what I need, taking photos of the family. I've had it for a few weeks now and have got some great images. I would suggest looking at some different lenses and maybe taking the time to learn manual mode though, to make the most of it. This camera is great for what I need, taking photos of the family.
