Genius FaceCam 1000X 720p HD Webcam 3X digital zoom w/MIC built in, Universal clip fits LCD monitors

Used this product for a few months and constantly need to update the settings to increase "backlight comp" as the default makes it look like I am joining meetings from the bottom of a dark cave. Also has manual focus which is quite low-tech. The zoom is quite close-up so I find myself having to move my chair back so my face isn't enormous.

Plus points are that it does sit well on top of a monitor and it does just plug and play, in that it does supply a picture of sorts.

Comes complete to use just by plugging in and no drivers needed. Quality is average. Only major problem is the brightness is low and needs proper lighting to look normal. Needed it for zooms as my laptop camera broke, works well, does exactly as I hoped. Quality of picture is okay, although it does sit a bit far forward making the picture slightly bigger than natural. Really poor image... even for 720p. Terrible manual focus adjustment and sound. In this day and age you would expect something that at least captures a clear image even the cheapest of cheap cell phones (and i'm talking $100 price point) have much better cameras and auto focus, and even have 1080p... really can't convey enough, how dissapointing this product is :( Really poor image... even for 720p.
