The cam is good for Skype.. HD quality. Minus two stars due to occasion malfunctions during use that we need to disconnect the USB and restart Skype. Annoying due to missing transaction. Great value in a webcam - I'm intending to use this a computer vision fixture at work, but in the mean time have stuck it on my monitor and used it for a few remote meetings. I really like that it isn't a super wide angle camera/lens! Sound seems fine, price was definitely right.

In case others are interested in hacking on this camera: apparently, the lens can be adjusted to focus much closer, if the cover is taken off and the front element screwed in a bit. Excellent webcam with some nice features such as zoom and face tracking. Good resolution and sound quality. I had a little difficulty getting the sound to work but that was tracked down to my Win 10 build. The latest update fixed that completely. It worked right away with skype on Windows 7, but i suggest that you install the Logitech Webcam Software for it so you can play with the settings.
