Eufy Security eufyCam 2C Pro 2K Outdoor Wire-Free Smart Camera Kit - 3 Pack (Homebase 2 Included)

Live in Hawke's Bay, after 2 break in's within 6 days at our workshop, we ordered this kit as well as the keypad kit. It was easy to setup, I searched and followed a great youtube video on how to do this. We installed the 3 camera's, 2 outside and 1 inside. We downloaded the Eufy app and were able to see all the camera's from our phones. Takes a bit of playing to get the exact setup required, but was able to do pretty much everything we wanted. The alarm sounded once he got inside, and we were able to speak through the camera inbuilt speaker to PISS OFF and that the police were on their way ! It automatically recorded the footage of the guy running away, which was hilarious! Unfortunately the night vision footage wasn't clear enough for the police to find the intruder, but nonetheless, he didn't get any of our tools on the 3rd attempt, and no break-ins since ! The equipment has already paid for itself within 24 hours.

Upgraded from a Wyze system, it’s night and day.
- Super fast app, it will notify you in plenty of time to surprise couriers delivering to your door.
- Recording space is large, had these a couple months and they’ve used ~10% onboard storage.
- Range is far superior to Wyze outdoor cams, just works, and works everywhere we’ve put them.
- Optional monthly fee is truly optional; it’s basically offsite backups for your recording (which if you’re technical you could probably do yourself as they support a protocol you could stream to a NAS and backup).
- Very clear, audio is good, real-time back-forth works if you want to talk to someone.

- Setup of the units is so easy it could be done by a rhesus macaque - thought I was doing it wrong, but no, it’s actually that simple.
- Mounting is a cinch, a kind of friction-based gimbal allows you relative freedom of installation.
- Battery life is as claimed, as mentioned they’ve been in a couple months and the lowest cam (most used) is still at 50%. The others are more or less 80-90%.

Things you might not like:
- Storage isn’t upgradable.
- Included light isn’t amazing - you would need alternative lighting to not use IR illumination.

These cameras are pretty good so far. The image quality & voice communication works well. Also the alarm sound when they detect movement during the away mode is a good deterrent for trespassers. Although the cameras die a little faster than I thought they would, however I use mine in a retail setting so they get a lot of action. Overall I would buy these again since it was local storage & there’s no paid subscription required like with Arlo. These cameras are pretty good so far. Really pleased with this purchase, i was unsure of what to buy to add easy to use peace of mind home security and monitoring and can vouch for the simplicity of setup, ease of use and awesome features such as AI human motion detection and configurable alerting based on whether you're home/away etc.
No additional monthly costs/subscription and does exactly what i want it to do and the app works great and has some funky features.

Does not require paid subscription to work, easy installation. Range is reasonable. Does have very long battery life.

Have had this up and running for about three weeks now and loving it. Got it during a sale so got a good deal. Installation relatively easy. Loved the battery lasts for 6 months before recharge. Pictures and video clear. App easy to use and set up. Still just scratching the surface of app functionality but so far no complaints at all. Also love the lack of subscription required. Great features with no subscription, does all the person recognition flawlessly. Worked so well I got another 3 for the other property. Easy setup and mounting. Very useful and smart security cam. The only concern is the charge stays only for about 3 months if the recordings are done frequently. The motion detection works fine both day/night. Great cameras, app is missing advanced scheduling functionality. Company has completely dropped the ball with cyber security though and is not transparent with customers. Their AI component leaks photos into the cloud which are not deleted in an appropriate amount of time. Plenty of articles about it if you want to form your own opinion.
