Eufy Security eufyCam 3 (S330) Wire-Free Security Camera Kit - 2 Pack (Homebase 3 Included), 4K, Integrated Solar Panel, Color Nightvision, Two-Way Audio, Up to 16TB Storage

I've had these for a month now. The cameras were quick & easy to install & everything working well. Especially like the local storage on the hub so no monthly subscriptions required. Added bonus of storing recordings on the hub is that storage can easily be upgraded to 16TB (Homebase 3) and, unlike other cameras where the images are stored on an SD card on the camera, the image recordings are safely on the hub hidden away indoors. For other cameras with built in SD Card if the camera is taken the images are gone with it!

BUT, be aware that the motion detection range is less than 8 meters. Being battery powered the recording & notifications will only be triggered when the camera senses movement. I have one on the corner of the house overlooking the driveway & the short detection range means someone can easily skirt around the outside to avoid activating the cameras and even when someone does come into detection range they can often be mostly out of frame by the time the recording starts. So definitely potential for security breaches to be completely missed - ie no notification or recording!

The other con is that these particular cameras (S330 with built in solar panel to keep batteries fully charged) are pricey (>$500 each). The poor detection range means you may need more cameras to get full coverage.

Apart from that a great product, just be aware of its limitations.

I chose this product for the great feature set. Cameras are good quality with above average image quality. The built-in solar means you should never have to take them down to charge. I've been using Arlo cameras for years, and recently tried the Arlo Ultra but was disappointed with their night vision (everything was blown out and extremely low contrast). I got the Eufy Cam 3 and the results are stunning: far better picture quality, far better night vision, and much faster notification timing. Plus, the app is bug-free, never asks me to login 10x a day like Arlo, and doesn't require a monthly subscription to work. I had been looking for a security system for ages and when this model came on the market it fitted our home requirements perfectly. Great cameras, recording to a central hub, very simple install and an easy to understand App. So good I bought another set for a business property. A good feature is that the cameras communicate to the hub over long distances - 250m line of sight although you do loose some resolution. This product okay for few weeks and that's it, after 2 months had to return them to get them fixed , and they took like 3 months to do that and 1 month later another problem and had to return one of the cameras, same thing took like over a month, and after using them for 6 months the battery won't even last for 5 weeks without taking them off and charging them, they not worth it at all stay away get yourself wired cameras and save your money from this rubbish,
People with 5 star review they write a review after 2 days or 3 of using this product, yes first 2 weeks everything good, but you don't pay that much for few weeks! After a lot of research, based on heaps of reviews (local and international) and making sure it met my needs re: video quality, wireless, Apple / Google home compatible etc - I decided on the EufyCam 3 set with homebase.

Having SSD (2.5") storage was a bonus for my extra 500GB Samsung drive lying around, which will never be used up at my current rate of video storage

Installation was very simple, and hooked up everything in working order in under 30 minutes... easy.
