I needed a solar-powered security camera for a rural property after issues with people coming up our very long driveway at night. This product works very well as it is positioned within the range of our wifi expander and the solar power means no wiring it in which would have been a nightmare because it is away from the buildings.
Easy to instal and great instructions through the app. Even my older Mum is able to work that app as a guest so she can see who is coming up the shared driveway to her place. Great peace of mind for her.

The notifications from the camera are quick - quick enough that I was able to catch one of my kids sneaking out of the house to visit his mate across the paddock and call him back using the two-way speaker built into the system.
The camera also has a built-in siren/alarm which you can set off to stress out any burglars who might be lurking about and draw the attention of your neighbours.
Cool that it doesn't require a subscription too. Wholly self-contained unit. No base station required. Just instal and go. If you want cloud storage of your videos, it's extra but only about $30 per annum so totally affordable.

Easy to adjust settings on the Eufy app with plenty of options (better than I expected). Adding the device to the app was straight forward - it gives both written and verbal prompts. Physical installation couldn't be easier. Overall - just what I wanted and I would highly recommend.

Great new product from Eufy, it was super easy to install and syncs seamlessly to the app. The solar panel has kept it charged at 100% and spot light covers the whole yard. The added feature to change light from warm to cold and brightness makes it customizable to our space. The spotlight really makes this worthwhile. Being able to change the intensity is also a plus. Big fan of the eufy systems. After leaving google cameras behind, we now get better battery life and a more advanced user interface. Also many of the features eufy offers are paid subscription in google. I am stoked with everything about this home security camera with spot light at night. Incredibly easy to install with great instructions. App & website also easy to navigate & install. It notifies quickly & clearly of any human activity. Price wise I felt was very reasonable for all this tidy unit does.

The camera was very easy to set up and to join to the network. I was concerned that the camera wouldn't be able to charge enough being winter.

Was going great for 14 months but then I started noticing drop outs now and then. By the 15th month it would drop out for days on end and I finally went to physically check the cameras and found that water had gotten into them. I could see water sloshing about where the spotlights are. Was out of luck chasing warranty with Eufy but PBTech came in clutch and honored a refund under CGA after a few days. The camera has numerous functions to meet all your needs. I like the solar system as it removes the need for constantly replacing batteries. Experience to date is that everything is working well.
