This purchase was to fill a need for security lighting and visual surveillance on an isolated rural property. After one full month of operation the unit has met all expectations of it. Installation was easy and straight forward - the wifi connection was less complicated than for other EZVIZ units that I have installed. The lighting strength is excellent and the ability to focus the surveillance coverage area is useful. I can recommend this as a quality product but please be aware I have not yet had it running in extreme weather conditions. I bought this unit in Nov 2021 and it has served me well. About 9 months ago the IR stopped working and now the LEDs have stopped working. They just flicker with minimal output although the camera still works just fine.

18 months in and the IR has stopped working so have had to install an IR array.

Apart from that its great.

One thing about EZVIZ is the limit of 4 cameras on the cloud. If you need more than 4 cameras to upload to the cloud then look elsewhere. The 4K cameras are, however, awesome so I live with it! (my camera is fitted at 2.5 meter high) the pir sensor from the floor can detect maximum 3 meter foreward and around. It does not detect right under the camera and you can't change position of the pir sensor alone without change the position of the camera too.

The siren is a joke, the producer said 100 decibel, yea right,not a chance, my ringtone of the phone is louder.

I have activated the notification if the camera goes offline. The very first day went offline overnight and wake me up at 4 in the morning, in the following days keep randoming going offline occasionally. (they have released various software update, now i receive a notification when the camera goes offline only if the wifi get disconnected, funny because it's happended multiple times that i have opened the app and the camera was offline and was not recording for long period of time without notification)basically they have not fixed the problem,they just have disable sending the message to the phone when the camera goes offline.

There is no reset from remote when the camera crash, often when there is a power outage the camera crash and you have to manually reach the camera and push the button to reset when it happen,it s very frustating and it's happended multiple time. If you are away and there is a power shortage there is nothing you can do,you have to come back to get the camera running again. (it's improved a bit after the firmware update)

There is no motion detection,only pir sensor, if there is a lot of heat and sun it struggle to detect people or vehicle.

Sometimes it send notification,some other times it does not, sometimes you will receive notification but not every device connected (you may or may not get it).
You can receive notification immediately or you may receive it after 3 minutes from an event (for example you can receive them after 10 minutes in a cloudy rainy day)

The internal antenna is average, the wifi need to be as close as possible, (mine is a meter away from it to work properly)

IMHO is overpriced for what you get.

One light doesn't work at all and the other flickers with half the LEDs not working at all. This started happening around the 1 year mark and now at 2 years the lights are useless. I had them on motion detection so the 10000 hour rating is incorrect. Camera still works well but as the lights aren't replaceable the whole unit needs to be trashed. Feels very wasteful. This camera looks great but it has to have a certain brand of sd card to work properly, which isn’t clear until you go to the help questions after finding it doesn’t work.
