Installing a PC in this case was a pleasure. The design made me feel spoiled with how easy it was after previous builds.

Pros (For me)
+ Placing the storage in its own area instead of a rack in front of the fans is a great plus for me - Plenty of room for lots of storage while also able to take large graphics cards. Side panels are doors, brilliant. Was easy to run and position the cables, especially with the velcro straps.
+ 3 Front RGB fans with different modes are a fun, pretty pleasure which can be used as mood lighting for the whole room.

+ Effective air cooling - moved my machine, from a Fractal Design Define R5 with additional air cooling, to this and there is a noticeable drop in both idle temperature and full load temperature.

Overall completely satisfied with this purchase. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an extremely well-designed case with lots of room, and a built-in bit of (optional) flair without going totally overboard with it.

I like the black aesthetics with the RGB ascents however, sadly my 3 RGB fans arrived dead -spin only, no lights- which is a shame as this makes my build look off.

the side mesh vents allow you to put up to 2 or 3 fans (140 or 120mm) near the psu shroud, pulling air up towards the gpu which nets extra gpu cooling which is especially useful when overclocking.

The case's modularity simplifies the building process, although removing the glass panels may require some effort, as they can be stiff to disengage.
Despite its strengths, a two-star deduction is warranted due to the issue with the fans upon delivery.

And it looks beautiful, but makes my motherboard and graphics card look tiny, so I would recommend this to people that have a full high end rig as it’s a big case, but I love the ease of access, the RGB integration, the quality is 10/10 and it’s came with so much extra’s and hardware for only $200 off bucks. Can’t complain what do ever, it did take a bit of time to figure out how to wire all the RGB, controller, Water cooling, RGB case fans as there instructions are SH*t, but nothing a bit of YouTube videos can’t fix. 10/10 for people on the very about getting this I would jump on it. I went with white and wouldn’t change a things.

Super happy with this case. Extremely well built with lots of flexibility options for how you wish to mount your components. The front fans work well with aRGB ports on motherboard for RGB synchronization. All panels are removable making component installation a breeze.

I've had this case for a few weeks now, and I love how my build turned out with this case. The included fans are very quiet and the case is incredibly well built. The mechanical design allowing ease of opening is a really nice touch too. I will say that the instructions are -slightly- off, due to translation errors possibly. The mode button for the lighting can also be a teensy bit fiddly, but the right angle will get it done. The case does an excellent job of routing and hiding your cables, giving you a gorgeous and very clean looking build.

If you are unsure how to control the lighting directly through software, you need to use the mode ...view more I've had this case for a few weeks now, and I love how my build turned out with this case. If you are unsure how to control the lighting directly through software, you need to use the mode button to cycle through to the eighth mode, which should look like a flat colour by default. Note that just pressing the colour button will not set it into motherboard sync mode, you have to use the mode button to cycle to it. From there it should be controllable. If you want to turn the fan lights off with the front panel, you set it into motherboard sync mode and then hold the mode button for around 3 seconds.

Also a slight warning, although you have two hard drive cages that each can mount two hard drives (and also have slots for mounting SSDs instead, if the two sata SSD mounts on the back aren't enough for you), if you wish to use both of those hard drive cages at once, the cables from a normal sized power supply will get in the way. Finally, be thoughtful about the order that you put things into the case, or you will find yourself taking things back out to make sure everything can fit in together. As always with tempered glass, be very careful not to scratch it when building. Leave the peel on the glass until after you are finished putting it together, and be mindful that there's no peel on the inside of the glass. When building, be sure to leave lots of room to either side for the doors to swing out so you can easily move around to either side as necessary.

On the topic of accessories, it should be noted that the 140ml fans that come with this case cannot be purchased separately. If you want matching fans and more than this already has, you will need to purchase separate fans or find another lancool iii owner who wants to sell theirs. The case comes equipped with a large number of mounting points for 120 or 140ml fans, but the stock fans do a great job of keeping air moving. Lian li also sells dust filters for the lancool iii, but you will have to go to aliexpress for those, as nowhere in NZ sells them at the time of writing this review.

Despite these little disclaimers, overall I love this case and would highly recommend it. I just want to give people the smoothest possible experience if they pick it up.

The case is amazing. So many routing options and layout configurations. Toolless entry as all doors are magnetic - Perfect if your constantly tinkering.
