It works
Decent product, works well handling the loads that im throwing at it
Great upgrade and amazing price to performance
I was origonaly using an i3 9100f in my computer when I swapped after about a year to this CPU which has been significantly faster. I have not experienced any stutters and have had fast video rendering ontop of it.
Deffinetely reccomend this CPU if you want a great and cheap experience whilst gaming.
Great if you're pairing it with a graphics card
I combined the Ryzen 5500 with a existing graphics card, a new motherboard, and some new RAM to give an old PC a total refresh. The end result is both much faster and far quieter and I didn't have to pay for the inbuilt graphics that I was never going to use.

I upgraded from a Ryzen 3 2200g and boy what a difference!

I upgraded to this CPU from an Fx6100 quite recently so quite an upgrade and it is SO much quicker. it's a great CPU for the price as you get the performance needed for smooth 1080p gaming and overall is good value for money
Alot bang for your buck
Really impressed with the performance of the AMD Ryzen 5 5500 with its 6 cores and 12 threads. Suits my needs for gaming (DiRT Rally, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order), and basic video rendering. It is great value for money.
Would recommend getting the Deepcool AG300 CPU cooler to keep CPU cool. The out of the box, stock AMD Wraith Cooler is not that effective when you start working the CPU.
