If you're looking for a high-end desktop processor in the market, this is the best you can get right now, not only is it one of the fastest processor out there, it's also by far the most cost effective processor in terms of productivity workloads, but not so much for gaming. But if you're planning to future proof, then ddr5 will be the standard in the future and this processor is definitely will last you a long time!

If you're still buying 7900x/7950x processors, just remember to get a very good AiO cooler(I recommend at least 280 or 360mm radiators) to get the most performance out of it since it'll heat up to 95C at maximum workload out of the box without any tuning. I personally undervolted and underclocked mine so it runs at maximum 70C and 145 watts while only getting about 5-7% performance drop.

With fantastic features like ECO mode, ongoing micro-code support with AGESA AM5Combo 1.0.0.4 (This chip now boosts to 5.85ghz on all cores out of the box) and unbelievable performance in multi-threading.

I paired it with Corsair H170i 420mm cooler & that keep the beast chilled under load.
