Like the title it is exellent P/P CPU. It can does everything I need like videos editing, pictures editing and gaming.

I upgraded from an Intel Core i5-9100F to the i5-14400F, and the difference in speed and overall performance has been clear and consistent.

This was my first time installing a CPU, and the process went smoothly. The included stock cooler with pre-applied thermal paste made setup straightforward.

My main concern is overheating—an issue that has been reported with Intel’s 13th- and 14th-generation CPUs—though I haven’t experienced problems so far. To reduce risk, I keep the CPU at stock settings and avoid overclocking. I also plan to install a custom cooler for extra peace of mind. I strongly recommend updating your motherboard BIOS before installing the CPU, even on a new board, as this can prevent compatibility or stability issues. That said, because of the widely reported reliability problems with 13th- and 14th-gen Intel processors—which in some cases have caused serious motherboard or CPU damage—I cannot give the i5-14400F a full five-star rating.

Overall, though, it has been a solid upgrade. It delivers the performance boost I wanted while remaining reliable at default settings. Despite Intel’s recent challenges, their CPUs still offer strong performance and benefit from a long track record.

Many more cores and threads than my previous CPU. I needed to use a Intel motherboard as I wanted to use 4x DDR4 so needed a CPU to fit. I am very happy with this CPU for my purposes. It chews through any processing I do without issue. I did not use the included cooler so cannot speak for that but I would recommend this CPU definitely.
