I've had this installed for 2 weeks and set up a Samsung 970Evo M.2 NVMe drive in it to use as a boot disc, mounted on a 16x PCIe 3 slot.
Took a wee while to get the BIOS set up to recognise it (it's an older board with a Xeon processor), but that's probably more because I"m a rank amateur and it's the first time I've tried it than any particular difficulty.
Speeds are fantastic - approx. 7x faster RW than a Samsung 850 Evo I put in on SATA3 a year or so back. Does what it says.

Works as intended, just plug and play.
Using a Corsair MP400 8TB, windows detected straight away.
No chipset issues like others where they are limited to 2TB drives.

This is fantastic, I get 3200Mb/s with a transcend Nvme M key ssd. You can only boot from this device if your mobo supports nvme. Highly recommended even if you don't use it for boot device. Want m.2 speeds but mother boards isn't compatible?
This does the trick. Got full speed out of the 970 Evo SSD I put in it. No difficulty in setting it as a boot drive and temps on the SSD have been good. If you need pcie to m.2 this card works great! Want m.2 speeds but mother boards isn't compatible?

Running a modern PCIe x4 drive in it, I get about 3000MB/s. This drive can do around 7000MB/s with a PCIe 4 interface, but for a PCIe 3 interface card I'm quite happy with its performance. My old LGA-1150 motherboard died. The replacement motherboard I found doesn't have an M.2 slot. The NVMe drive slotted into this little card, I booted Windows, and it popped up just as before, same drive letter and everything. Couldn't have been easier. My old LGA-1150 motherboard died. I bought this due to buying a 2nd NVME that I couldn't use (I have 2 M2 slots which are both NVME right? - no). Works a treat, bios picked it up properly even gave me the option of RAID.
