It gets pretty hot, but it should be fine.
You also have to set up the SSD, but it's pretty easy if you know what your doing.
Little bit worried about the cover sliding off in my bag.

Quick and easy to set up and works ok. Gets quite hot but that's expected when you push the drive. Unfortunately only got 5Gbps (660 MB/s) even though connected via Type-C to Type-C cable to a Type-C USB 3.2 Gen2x2 port with a 5000 MB/s read speed internal drive and 2400 MB/s write speed drive set up in the Orico enclosure. I have numerous M.2 enclosures and these are my favourite.
They are solid, have a built in heatsink and retain the M.2 drive securely.

Easy to use, and very fast access to SSD. Perfect for quick access to an SSD.

Great device and has terrific performance if you use the correct cables. Many generic USB-C cables only support USB2 speeds. Works perfectly, carried it around in my bag for over a year, hasn't come apart and is pretty durable.
The transparent plastic looks pretty cool and the heatsink absorbs the heat of the ssd pretty well. Works perfectly, carried it around in my bag for over a year, hasn't come apart and is pretty durable.
