I have a ryzen 5 5600 and this cooler keeps it at around 76°c during an all-core cinebench stress test, which is significantly better than the 85°c I was getting with the stock cooler. During normal use it hovers around 60°. Honestly I believe this cpu cooler would work much better with a case that has better airflow since my case is very cheap. If you have a ryzen 5 cpu or a cpu that doesn't get very hot this is a great choice. Because, it's barely going to make a noise! It already passively keeps the temp at a good level, the fan seems to run at a low rpm so there is some airflow over the heat sink.

Just installed this onto a 13400F Intel CPU in a Gigabtye z790 UD AX motherboard without any problems. The fan that came with the 13400F was so loud it was driving me insane, and the temperatures were insanely high. Swapping this in basically halved the noise and the temperatures the. The AK400 comes with a selection of brackets for various Chipsets, it has a back plate which needs to go on the underneath of the motherboard, so if you are replacing a fan, you will likely need to pull the whole board out of the case. The heatsink has pre-applied thermal paste, so you shouldn't need to purchase any separately. The AK400 also comes with another pair of fan clips, so if you want you can clip a second fan to the back of the heatsink. Not sure that's worth it, but it's nice they give you the option. The 4-pin fan provided is just clipped onto the heatsink, so it the fan fails you can just replace the fan, so that's nice as well. It has a high clearance over the board, so it shouldn't collide with your RAM modules, but it is a high heatsink, so make sure your case has the 155mm clearance for it. This seemed to be the best CPU fan I could find for the cost.
