Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS Joystick

If you're looking into getting a joystick just to see if it fits well with you or you're just trying them out then this will probably the best go to.

I've had this for a week and could not be happier.

This is a great quality device without the price tag.

Solidly built, it won't flop around and distract you from the task at hand.

Gives nice, precise control with no glitches.

The T16000M feels great. The trigger is very responsive and it’s completely ambidextrous thanks to a button on the bottom that toggles between a right-handed and left-handed setup. It also has 3D Hall Effect magnetic sensors located on the stick, which helps make movement very exact and satisfying.

Whether you’re playing a sim-heavy game like DCS or a more space sim experience like Star Citizen, the joystick is responsive and just as importantly it’s comfortable. I was able to fly for hours at a time without experiencing discomfort from the controller setup, and it feels great when paired with another T16000M when dog fighting.

Best bang for your buck. If you want to spend an extra $300 plus shipping then go for it but there isn’t anything in between.

Had this for about 6 months. Nice enough joystick if all you do is sit at a desk and look at a screen, but put a VR headset on and everything goes to pieces. This might have 12 buttons on the base but you can't find them if you can't look at it, they're inconveniently placed, they all feel the same, and with the ridges on the joystick base it's almost impossible to tell by feel what's a button and what's the base. If you want something for VR gaming do yourself a favour and save up for an X56 or something else with lots of buttons under your fingers that don't all feel the same and don't feel like part of the joystick. There isn't too much to say about this. Nothing competes with it at this price point. It does the job very well! Great for Star Citizen and other space sims, but also good for regular flight sims.

The issue of deadzones needs to manually fixed, but I haven't bothered yet. The Orange leaves much to be desired.
