Blue screens of death
I could not complete the migration of an existing Windows 10 installation to the Crucial BX500 SSD; following the data cloning, the computer started to produce blue screens of death after a few hours of use. I had to exchange it by a Samsung 870 EVO SSD at the store to have my issue resolved. I don't recommend it.
At this price it's marvellous
Can't go wrong.

Very fast and easy to install.
Great drive at a great price. I used quite a lot of Crucial drives in my life and they are great. For only couple dozen of dollars more you'll get far superior performance than cheap Chinese brands. If you're on a budget but want a great SDD save on a couple of coffees. And get this instead of King-No-Name-Whatever brand.

No packer plate with ssd included as stated on crucial support site to stop movement of ssd if needed when installed as on crucial support site videos as said to be sent inside container carton...WHY....

A good little drive
Happy so far with the performance of this drive.
Decent Drive for it's price
Not the greatest, however as a cheapo drive it works great for a OS drive or file storage just don't expect amazing improvement in game performance.

Excellent value product SSD using as a backup drive in my Desktop
A necessary upgrade
I was surprised when I've seen this SSD at a such a low price point. When I got it and had it installed into my laptop, it speeded up dramatically. I didn't have to wait 10 minutes for Windows to finish loading everything from the hard drive.
I don't have any measurable metrics for this, but if you that interested, there's Google.
I'd heavily recommend buying an SSD over any other upgrade if you think your PC is sluggish. Windows is a lot harder on reading data now. And since the BX500 is cheap and made by a reputable manufacturer, I'd heavily recommend it.
