Great performance NVME for a great price!
I did a lot of reading about this device as it does not have a DRAM cache but does have a TLC cache (apparently the 1.4 spec for nvme allows it to use system RAM as a cache). The consensus was that unless you are doing a lot of IO (like a database or video rendering etc) the difference would be irrelevant. And so far it turns out to be the case! I went from a 2x 500GB samsung nvme RAID stripped array (delivering around 6000 MB read/ 4500 MB write in a pci-e gen 3 and 4 slot config with attendant driver issues when using pre-boot environments for backup image restores etc being less than totally supported) to a single nvme, no pre-boot...view more

Seems to work well
Performance is good, similar to most other SSD M.2 drives. Specs are high but not noticeable however I want them available when needed. Has been reliable and no complaints, Good price too.
A great ssd
Brought this a couple of weeks ago and it's awesome, Very fast read/write makes my old one seem like a spinning disk. HP wouldn't have been in my mind for a M.2 ssd, I didn't know they sold them separately. Thanks PB for great prices on all this gear! Definitely re recommend this product.
A worthwile purchase
Got it on sale, the performance is great considering it's the price of a mid-range M.2 SSD.
