After a few months of owning this drive it randomly decides that it will only transfer at 10MB/sec. Rebooting fixes the problem but will reoccur in a day or two. No firmware fixes and no errors reported on the drive. Most problematic SSD I have ever owned. Switched back to Samsung - no more problems. Bought this SSD to have more storage for games, wasn’t prepared to spend more to get a Samsung 980 like my main drive. Runs games just as good as my main drive, no slow load times. Also, quick transfer speed to get files off your current drive and into this one. Perfect if you need some more storage and can’t afford the more expensive m.2 SSDs. I got this to upgrade my laptop’s 256GB SSD. After I cloned the old disk to the new one, it was a simple matter of swapping the over. Not too much to say here - it's fast, it's PCI-Gen4 (check your mobo, if you are Gen3-only you might find a cheaper Gen3 drive), and it's biiiiiig. 2TB C: drive = no more stressing out about space, and my Steam folder lives on a second 2TB drive - again, no stress. Just took my pc in with PCIe 3 bus to be upgraded with a 2TB SSD from the original purchased 500Gb. Chose the PCIe 4 option that is backward compatible… makes sense as it is just a few dollars more then the PCIe3 option but faster read/write. I got this on special - 2TB of quick SSD for a very good price.

Due to the size of 4k gaming textures this was what I needed. The price made it exceptional value and now all my games can take advantage of PCIe NVMe speeds!
