Buying this SSD you are leaving the performance and quality of the SSD to PBtech. PBtech is very reliable so you won't get a broken one but the gamble is if you get a brand like Samsung or a Chinese brand you have never heard of. Although I got a brand I never heard of before, I still felt that it was a fast drive and works great to revive an old system which was going slower. I would recommend if you can take the gamble. Good upgrade from old SSD, but not as easy to set up as the Crucial one I used on another laptop. Had a bit of trouble getting Windows 10 to recognise and initiate it.

Picked up for a crazy price on sale. Was happy to discover my drive is a Samsung PM871; TLC NAND; about 500MB/s read, 150MB/s write. Ultimately it doesn't matter which drive you receive as any will be a significant upgrade from a HDD. If it's much cheaper than a retail boxed drive, go for it! Picked up for a crazy price on sale.
