We recently upgraded to the Synology HAT3310 8TB 3.5” Plus Series NAS HDD in our daisy-chain High Availability setup with the Synology DS1823xs+ NAS, and I’m thoroughly impressed! It runs approximately 5°C cooler than the Seagate IronWolf models, which significantly boosts energy efficiency and longevity. The integration with DSM offers handy features like on-the-fly firmware upgrades and the ability to detach drives from the RAID array safely.
