The good:
Well built unit
PB Units have the latest changes ie logo is no longer a sticker on the handlebars and is painted on to the metal and there are new relfectors on the stem above the front wheel.
Price is quite competitive at the right price (Wait for a special)
No charging brick included as it has one in the scooter itself! only need a Cloverleaf cable for charging nice!

The Not so good:
Speed lowered to 25Km/h being a Worldwide model, Rather than potential 30Km/h making it slower than the ES4 (Changeable but requires some knowhow and potential voiding of warranty)

Free Combination lock in the box However its not secure in any form dont use it unless its supplementary to a real U-Lock from Kryptonite or ABUS as it will get stolen The Kryptonite Flex frame mount fits perfectly on the stem and is out of the way while riding making it perfect.

Why use the old GEN1 (SN: 6) motors when the GEN2 (SN: 9) are prevent to be better at maintaining speed below 50%
Include a spare tire at this price and its gonna happen and having that spare is gonna be convenient

Purchased the Ninebot G30 Max to replace a recently purchased Ninebot F40 scooter that struggled up hills and regularly cut out on slopes with a 10% gradient (even though it's rated for up to 20%). The G30 Max by comparison has no issues on steeper slopes. I'm able to maintain a consistent 15-20kmph on some pretty steep slopes around my area, whereas the F40 would slow to 5-10kmph before cutting out. Both models have 350-watt motors, but the G30 Max has a lot more power and torque. The rear-wheel drive is also a big plus over the F40's front-wheel drive. Overall the G30 Max is a great all-around scooter, smooth riding, well-built, well-balanced, and so far incredibly reliable. I have had a minor cosmetic issue with the rear wheel trim/hub cap coming loose, but PB Tech has provided excellent post-purchase customer service to help resolve the issue. If you're closer to the upper weight limit of these scooters, don't waste your time with the cheaper Ninebot models, get the G30 Max. I would also encourage people to shop from a reliable retailer like PB Tech so that if anything does go wrong, you know you'll be looked after.

I recently purchased this scooter to replace another brand! I use it most days to ride from home to work and back which takes 25 minutes each way!I love not having to sit in traffic and saving $70 a week in parking and petrol!! It’s heavier than my previous model but it’s feels sturdier and has amazing acceleration in comparison! The 3 settings are easy to set and use. It handles hills well and the charge last me 3 days. This is awesome as my previous one only got me to work and back one day so if I forget to charge it, I know I won’t get stuck half way home. The charging cord is small & easy to throw in my work bag! Amazing Up hill power OVER the M365 and the ES4 even on CFW with more power pushed this thing smashes them on stock firmware.
Battery is extremely good i don't fully charge anymore as 40% is enough to get me to and from work even with a detour.
Being designed for the rental market is its extremely sturdy and no tubes in the tires meaning less flasts and easier changes not to mention the larger tyres.
Main issue with M365 is the power reduces and torque loss is huge under 50% battery this doesn't have it and pushes near full power at over 10-15% battery.

I absolutely love this scooter! My partner and I purchased one of these scooters each over the Christmas holidays and we haven’t stopped using them. The battery life is great, we travelled from Riccarton to New Brighton and still had half a charge left. The speed is true, these scooters easily reach the max speed of 25 and you can actually go above 25 downhill. There are three modes Eco, Drive and Sport. Each mode is super useful for the ride you’re wanting, sport mode definitely takes off too. It's got lots of power and pick up in S mode and the D mode is good for around town.

The foot plate is big enough for my size 12 feet
The LED light is nice and bright for twilight travel
The tires really stick to the footpath and easy over grass and gravel

Cons:
The LED light really drains the battery

Fallen in love with the Segway Ninebot G30 Max scooter, would recommend to anyone just wanting something to scoot around with. Gets you from A to B and B to A pretty quick. The charge lasts a while, depending on use, but can last a couple days on a full charge. I have been using it to take the kids to and from school, while they push bike to school. Has been super handy. Have already done 150kms in 2 weeks. So definitely worth the money, also saving heaps in petrol. Especially with petrol costs rising. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!! An absolute joy to ride, it gets me up and over the Newtown Wellington hill twice each morning, and then into work with no trouble. Be ware of the power button, mine's slightly indented so I'm careful how I push it, but otherwise it's brilliant.

It's a bit heavy, but it feels solid and strong. The three movement modes makes it great not going too fast in some areas. Easy to fold down. We have found that the scooter gets us around very quickly & easily. It is a bit heavy to pick up & carry but manageable. It can go up almost every hill it needs to apart from one short very steep section of Bridle Track. It has impressive range too.
