As a daily commuter and a casual rider, the Segway F3 Pro has been a fantastic choice for my trips to and from work, as well as for leisurely rides around town. It's a scooter that strikes a great balance between performance, comfort, and features, making it a dependable companion for a variety of uses.

​For my daily commute, which involves a mix of city streets and bike paths, the F3 Pro handles itself exceptionally well. The 1200W peak motor power provides a smooth and quick acceleration, and it has no trouble getting up inclines, which is a huge plus. The top speed of 35 km/h (about 21.7 mph) is more than enough for a safe and efficient commute.
​One of the standout features for me is the range. Segway claims a maximum range of 70 km (in Eco mode), and while I'm mostly using Sport mode for my commute, the real-world range is still very impressive. I can easily do a full week of commuting without having to worry about charging, which is a big relief.

Ride Comfort and Safety
​This is where the F3 Pro truly shines. The combination of front hydraulic and rear elastomer suspension makes for a remarkably comfortable ride, even on rough pavement. It absorbs bumps and cracks in the road with ease, which prevents a lot of fatigue on longer rides. The 10-inch self-sealing tires also add a layer of peace of mind, as I don’t have to stress about small punctures.
​Safety features are also top-notch. The front and rear disc brakes provide strong, reliable stopping power, and the built-in turn indicators and a bright headlight are essential for feeling visible and safe on the road.

​Smart Features and Practicality
​The smart TFT display is clear and easy to read, showing my speed, battery life, and ride mode at a glance. I also appreciate the seamless integration with the Segway app, which lets me track my rides and remotely lock the scooter for security. The folding mechanism is simple to use, which is important for me to be able to carry it up stairs or place it in the trunk of a car when needed.

Downsides to Consider
​While I love this scooter, there are a couple of things to be aware of. First, at around 19 kg (42 lbs), it's not the lightest scooter out there. It’s manageable for short carries, but it's something to consider if you have to regularly navigate multiple flights of stairs. Second, the throttle control takes a little getting used to, as there's a slight delay to prevent sudden acceleration. Once you get the hang of it, it's not an issue.
