It is good upgrade to our old Roomba, self emptying is cool feature. Mop feature requires constant attentaion, but is not that dirty like everyday manual emptying. Also Roomba looks more disoriented sometimes, stuck more than previous model, so hope software will improve in time removing current imperfections. This robot vacuum and mop certainly has its quirks.
The sensors can be very finicky on the water tank and vacuum bag/container.
It loves to go around chair legs 100 times.
It can sometimes register a small cat toy as an obstacle and other times try and eat them and get the rollers tangled.
But nothing that can't be sorted with a bit of patience and some creative use of the app commands, and the job it does keeping hard floors and carpets clean is pretty good.
Use regularly for best results.

Small bits of fabric and plastic that have to be replaced regularly and probably cost cents to make, but the manufacturer sees fit to charge enough to feed a family for.
You can buy these parts for less than 1/10th the cost on sites like temu, but those (of course) don't always work as the machine can sense some non-branded parts and refuse to work with them.
So, while it does a good job keeping the floors of a single storey home clean, and not having to spend nearly as much time on these jobs yourself is fantastic! Beware that there are ongoing costs for parts that must be replaced regularly and are unreasonably high.

Trying to resolve it with IRobot support is a very slow process and none of the troubleshooting advice is resolving the issue. The Roomba works when I turn the WiFi on my phone off then I can control the Roomba. Paying such a price I expect these things to work first time.
