Xiaomi Standing Fan 2 Standing & Desktop Fan with Smart APP Control

This fan is great for any use but particularly at night. I have found it difficult to sleep with other fans due to the noise but this one is so quiet. We needed a very quiet fan but it’s hard to find one that’s affordable. This Xiaomi fan is the perfect one. It is reallyquiet, most quiet as compared to other high end products like Dyson and Shark of which I compared. Wifi connection is a breeze, and connection to Alexa made it so convenient to use. Doesn’t take up much space either. Highly recommended and i bought two for another bedroom with a separate Alexa unit. We needed a very quiet fan but it’s hard to find one that’s affordable. Purchased this fan due to a 3 year old Reddit comment - risky I know - however I am pleasantly surprised. Easy to assemble, connecting to wi-fi a bit finicky but eventually we got there. Totally usable without the app but so much more versatile with it.

And I love the option to set the oscillation degree within the app, or to shuffle it sideways without touching the fan itself.
The 'beep' of buttons when pressed is loud - but you can silence these in the app. There is also a 'child lock' on the app which disables the physical buttons - amazing feature with a curious 2 year old.

The only con would be the 'table top' size is still too high for a bedside table with limited downward tilt and a wide base.
But I cannot recommend this fan enough.

I've given this fan 5 stars for its basic manual performance. It's the best fan I've ever had and is completely useable on manual controls only. Yes, I would love to be able to use it through the app, unfortunately it refuses to connect (my phone does recognise it, but it won't connect to the Internet). I sent my first fan back to PB Tech who replaced it without question. Unfortunately, the replacement also would not connect to the Internet. As I have numerous Xiaomi devices running through the app, I'm taking responsibility for the fan not connecting and I suspect it might be a modem issue. Fan is very quiet with good fan strength. Great for at night in a bedroom. Breeze function is gentler than constant fan.
The two lengths if pole make it perfect for standing on floor or a cabinet. Base is sturdy.

Excellent fan and very quiet if you run it at half speed. Ideal for bedrooms etc.

I had to buy this fan after hearing about it on reddit. Easy to put together, even better when you connect it to the Xiaomi app. I can control it if im not home to keep my parrot comfortable. You can turn off the beeps on the app also, change the speed, direction etc. It's super quiet when it's on natural breeze or it's easy enough to sleep with it on the normal setting.

This is the second buy. It really worked well last summer, and I decided to buy another one for other room.

The airflow on this thing is great, and quiet too.

I am especially fond of the 'natural breeze' setting in winter where it does a great job of spreading the warm air around from a nearby heater.

Someone said the beeps it makes when you press the buttons are annoying, which is true, but you can turn them off in the app. And still going strong!
