These things made me almost rip my hair out trying to install them. Worst design ever. At least I didn't have to buy a new pair of headphones I guess. Replacing the earpads is way more cost effective than buying new headphones, but I now have a new respect for the people that work in the Sennheiser factory putting these on all day. I watched a couple of YouTube clips, these should be possible to replace in 30 seconds, but set aside an evening. Not only are they too small for my ears, they wear down pretty quick and split long the seams but the replacement muffs are an absolute pain to change over. While the installation can be quite annoying, the replacement pads themselves are of same quality as the originals and have made my few years old pair of HD 450BT headphones feel like new.
Before purchasing I thought these would end up being looser than the originals as they need to be stretched to install, however I have found them quite secure, which is likely why the installation is so annoying.

Overall very happy that I went with these rather buying new headphones. While the installation can be quite annoying, the replacement pads themselves are of same quality as the originals and have made my few years old pair of HD 450BT headphones feel like new.

A great way to update your headphones. My pads were peeling apart, but these were a great solution. Start with stretching the band a bit before installing the pads, and attach top and bottom before securing sides.

Getting this has made my wife's headphones feel like brand new. They were a little tricky to put on and felt like I was close to ripping them a couple of times, but other than that, no complaints from me or the wife.
