Logitech H390 USB Digital Headset

No exaggeration. I've lost count of the number of earphones, aka headsets, I've gone through since my first PC. Some have simply stopped working for no apparent reason. On others the fake leather coverings on the earphones have worn off exposing foam that has finally disintegrated. I was an early user of online calling sevices like WorldExchange and Skype so I really relied on my headsets and simply wore them out.

So I don't expect a set to last forever. On the other hand, I want my headsets to be comfortable and easily adjusted. Ironically, I was just able to replace the pair of Microsoft headsets I've been using for the past couple of years with a very similar model of the Logitech headset I'd had for five years previously. In fact, I''d bought those AND the Microsoft headsets from PBTech too. But at the time I needed to replace my previous Logitech headset there were none available. So I settled on Microsoft and endured two years of the most uncomfortable headset I've ever used.

So it was a huge relief when the cable connection of the Microsoft finally gave up after being taped, and taped and taped into position in order to repair the connection. And it was an even bigger relief to find a Logitech headset that looked exactly like my previous headset.

The difference in comfort was immediate. No pinching. No painful ears. Easy on and off. And NO FALLING OFF when I leaned forward to pick up something off the floor (OK - I'm clumsy). I was concerned that I might have to wait for delivery since my online order went in so close to the holidays. Instead, the order was waiting for me at my post office box the next day. And now, a couple of weeks later I'm still very, very pleased, not only with the comfort, but with the volume controls and with the sound quality.

These are not the most expensive or highest spec headsets available. But the price is, in my experience, extremely attractive and the performance perfect for my needs. I recommended them with five stars ... and would give them ten stars if that had been an option.

No issues with the features and comfortable to wear however the leatherette ear padding started delaminating on many sets having only been used a few times and stored in desk drawers etc. I raised this with Logitech including photos.
