Sennheiser HD 560S Open-Back Wired Over-Ear Headphones - Black

Good headphones. I bought these as an upgrade from an old $50 pair I had.
I have only been using these for a day at the time of writing.
Pros: Excellent sound. I'm no audiophile but the quality, to me, is superb.
Cable length - this depends what you like but for me the short 1.2M cable is fine and not too unwieldy.
Plug and go. No addition software, etc, no dramas.
Adapter is screw-on, so easy to just re-attach it when not in use so as not to lose it.

Similarly, slightly less cushioning then others I have worn. Still fine headphones, would recommend for the money, but for those looking for all-day headphones, I would say keep looking.
I hold out hope that stretching will help with the pressure issue.

I got these on sale which was a bargain. These were an upgrade for my HD 380 pro, which are closed back.

The 1/4" headphone output on my Yamaha amplifier is ample to drive these and they sound great with both vinyl and streaming services such as Spotify, on only quarter volume setting.

Modern phones do not have sufficient output to properly drive these, however I still had my HTC One M7 lying around and they output enough power to actually make these sound good.

You don’t need an amp for these bad boys. Just plug it in and enjoy. I’ve never had open back headphones before so I can’t compare these to any other open back model. As a producer these are perfect for the price, nice flat response and surprisingly clear sub bass frequencies after they've been broken. Very comfy and no ear fatigue over long periods of use. I just moved from a normal basic gaming headset and another work wireless one.

The build quality is above average, strong but plasticky feeling. The velour cushioned are for sure upgrade from the gaming headset material, but doesn't feel as high quality as the leather on the work headset.

Comfort is really a downside for me. The clamping force is quite high that I got a significant pain and headache after the first 1 hour. This improved with the continuous usage. The open back design is a different experience, you head the music and the game with immersion, but you are still aware of the surroundings. Which sometimes feel weird but I like it. Also, almost no sweaty ears at all. I would completely forgot that I am wearing it except the clamping force that gives me a discomfort pressure on my head sides.

Sound quality! I can't comment much about it!! I am not an audiophile and personally believe my hearing is not sensitive enough. Basically was trying to get an upgrade to feel more immersed in the games I play and to listen to the few tracks I enjoy at a different level. So far so good. I am not blown away but for sure it sounds flat but detailed. It can deliver nice bass but not the type that annoys as I don't like bass that much. On other hand, trebles is defined and mild. normally trebles annoy my hearing but this one for some reason doesn't. Sorry to be not that helpful but this is how I feel now about it.
