Very happy with the Open Swim Shokz, used for waka ama. Perfect to still be able to hear others around you, or to take calls out on the lake while paddling. Swiming while listening to music is awesome! good sound in water, light, you don´t even notice you are wearing it. Really recommend it. The Shokz Open swim pro waterproof headphones work very well. I was hesitant at first as I had used a different type of headphones which just kept falling off.. These are great to hear under water and above. Fully recommend any swimmer to purchase - you never get bored swimming again. The Shokz Open swim pro waterproof headphones work very well. I never thought I would use music underwater, but honestly it is buzzy... I'm looking at kicking off Aqua Zumba classes next year and what better way to test the moves in water without disturbing others.

The sound has more bass above water and is crisper underwater, especially with the ear plugs provided. This item also motivates me to swim longer as well with the sounds enriching that feeling of zero gravity when fully immersed.

Really really good sound quality which I did not expect. I dont want to compare with noise cancelling ..I deliberately wanted to hear peripheral sounds...and that I get ..

MP3 player is basic but good enough if my phone isnt near...and the BT connection is rock solid and great range
