My wife complained that I was always hard to hear or muffled through the previous headset, an aftershokz set i got about 6 years ago, for listening to while commuting to work on a bike. These not only have better sound, my wife can hear me perfectly when I call her on them, no distortion, wind noise ( altho i havent tried them while riding but thats asking a lot).

The case is now a decent zip up clamshell, and the colour is a vibrant orange, they arent getting lost.

I've come to terms with it and have moved on. The other change was out of the box, the originals would redial last number with 2 button taps if not playing anything, while the new ones seem to have gotten rid of the feature entirely.

I used the product for running and it is an absolute game changer. I'm able to hear my music with great clarity whilst still being able to be aware of my surroundings. Great investment, I definitely recommend this to others who like being active without the worries of earbuds falling out or headphones causing sweat build-up. I love my Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 headphones. I used to have the standard OpenRun headphones and upgraded to these when my old ones got damaged. The Pro 2 version comes with a hard case to protect them, which should mean they don't get damaged in my sports bag like my old ones did. I have changed from a single ear piece to this .

As I have to lie on the ground and rescue broken cars etc. I have lost my single ear piece so many times. But sadly don't realize till i am about 29 miles away 😕.

Also able to hear conversations as well is a bonus 😀.

One thing I would like is a voice comand to answer as with working gloves on and under a car it is a problem.

Excellent quality using bone conduction with long lasting battery. On the down side issues with ambient noise which easily drowns out the sound on high wind days or heavy traffic. I've tried the previous open run and open run pros, these sound about 10% better, have more sound bleed and cost a fair bit more. Overall happy with the products comfort and performance. Just know if you're buying them you're paying quite a bit more for a fairly small improvement in sound quality. I've never had any 'bone conduction' headphones before but I was pleasantly surprised with these. I'm a metalhead and even though the speakers are small they are exceptionally clear. Not to mention they've surprisingly got a good amount of bass. The battery life is able to last me an entire 8hr work day + more. (beanie friendly aswell) I highly recommend getting a pair.
