I bought these headphones from PB Tech just over 4 years ago and despite having a scare a year ago where the sound started to cut out in one ear a couple of times, they haven't acted up since. These get daily use and unfortunately the fabric on the ear cups is starting to crack and will soon disintegrate. Replacement cups can cost between $5 and $55 depending on if you get polyester or leather. It was well worth the $400 and it will be a sad day when these things stop working. I have anxiety and autism and wear these when going into shops so i dont get overwhelmed, their get for blocking out the loud echo while still letting me hear my mum and have a conversation with her! Great product thats worth the price. First, the good: build quality is nice. They're comfortable.

Now, the bad: these are absolutely the most overly-complicated bit of tech I've ever owned with massive compatibility issues with Bluetooth and seemingly its own software. I have to factory reset these several times a week just to reconnect to my phone or PC. I even had to rewire my PC's Bluetooth adapter just to use it with it. Sony also has no support for rolling back firmware - which I've seen requested by a lot of people online to solve problems such as the poor battery life. The sound quality is decent, but I've bought much cheaper wired headphones that sound miles better - some even in the $100 range.

Best headphones I’ve had. Fold up in their case nicely and they have amazing sound. Also have a feature to be able to talk to people when you speak thru the soundproof feature. I've wanted these headphones for years and finally got around to purchasing them around a month ago and I have zero complaints. the battery life is amazing i can go days without a charge. The sound quality is rich and bass-ey. The ANC is next level especially in cutting out background hums, and murmurs. I would say that the Ambient sound passthrough was a bit too loud when I first got them, but these setting can be adjusted to fit your needs in the sony app, so no longer a problem.
