Turtle Beach Stealth 600P Gen 2 Wireless Gaming Headset for Playstation 4 & 5

This is my second set of Turtle Beach 600 headphones, I first had the Gen 1 set, and loved them, but so did my girlfriend who ended up claiming them, so off to buy myself a new set.

Battery life is good, especially when I forget to put them onto charge after using them, they'll get through two solid nights of gaming.

Audio quality is good, obviously not the same as a $400+ pair of headphones. But adequate.

Microphone picks up my voice well, and can be angled slightly towards your face for better pick up. I have a large beard, and the mic sits beside it, but so far no complaints of interference from that.

The Wireless range is incredible, and I can walk around most areas of my house and still be connected (mileage will vary depending on what's in your walls).

Would highly recommend these headphones to everyone who is looking for good quality build, good sound, good mic and good battery life!

So, the positive, is the sound quality is really good. But these are the most uncomfortable headphones I've ever worn - they should say recommended for under 8 years or something. They are tiny and as a result the amount of pressure they apply gives me a headache in 5- 10min. The volume control, despite being an analogue dial, defaults back to max every time they power on (so you have to turn it all the way and back down to get volume control to work) and doesn't sync with your device volume the way most headsets I've used do, so don't dare start them with any sound already playing or them on your head you will cause more pain. Then to use the app with them for updates, config, etc, you need both the wireless adapter and the headset both plugged in via USB at once. I've gone back to my taped-together Logitech G533's which are, despite being older (and broken) a far better all-around headset (though, again, the 600P sound quality is good). Either get a more comfortable headset for 1/3 the price, or spend a little more and get something that's actually good all-around.
