Looked for a cheap thing to make my ethernet port outlet in a room be able to connect two PCs instead of just one.
Thought splitter sounds like the right thing, but it's not actually made for this purpose.

I now understand a small switch would have been better to buy, which I did, and that works for my purpose.

I bought this to split one LAN into 2 LAN , so that I can connect my 2 laptops on the same ethernet. But only 1 laptop is working and the second one has no connection.
