Corsair K60 RGB Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard

Some of this keyboards predisposers did not like linux and needed so called bios mode! This is my second so called low profile gamer keyboard different brand different feature set! I will say the CHERRY MX Low Profile switches are great! I love the red for coding, I have used original IBM Model M buckling spring original Cherry clicky switches, to the current swath of copies! this one is one of my favorite of the modern style keyboards! I still will get out an original from time to time just for fun! where this keyboard shines is late night coding in the dark! I have been using it for about a week, it has become my primary keyboard!

Most of the pros are fast accurate typing that must translate into better gaming?

It works fine off a USB two hub attached to a USB 2 port!

The cable is not going anywhere as it is molded into the keyboard!

My only pitfall is the predecessor had a detachable USB C to A cable I could use an angled USB C cable the cord on this keyboard is like some thick industrial black wire the only thing letting the side down though if feels like it is going nowhere so it may be a good thing!

Purchased during Black Friday sales. Great for productivity/study purposes - and probably gaming. Asked staff at the St Lukes branch who were more than happy to point out a couple of mechanical keyboard display units with "clicky" switches they had in the store, which helped me narrow down my choice of a "linear" keyboard. Very early actuation of the keys when pressed, which most may not be used to. Purchased during Black Friday sales. Great for productivity/study purposes - and probably gaming. The keyboard looks and feels great. It's low profile, but not slim... Kinda in between which is nice. I don't regret picking it up, and recommend it as a decent gaming mechanical keyboard. First of al I'm using this keyboard on Linux and have no interest in the software to change the pretty lights and mappings! So first off the internet is full of misinformation where the low profile like this one was mixed up with the one with the cheaper speed switches. Also things like I will need companion software to make the keyboard work with Linux or use bios mode.

I code all day I have gone from a buckling spring Model M from IBM (I still use that for fun), Original cherry switches, To the ultra quiet membrane and a low profile approximating the red switch that was my favorite coding keyboard till I broke my wrist that one was so sensitive that I was getting double key registrations from my trembling index fingers. This one wow I have the speed and accuracy I need for coding there Is about a 10% speed insincere as I no longer have to go back and recheck all the little errors that where accruing in my typing!

The only thing I do not like is the molded in keyboard USB chord though for the price I ain't complaining.

It works fine on a USB 2 Connection on a USB 2 Hub!

The Wife likes this one better than my last one!

So far I have used this keyboard for about 2 weeks will I ware it out time will tell....

This keyboard was great for the first 2 months of use, unfortunately it started acting as if were pushing the same keys up to 5 times ,for example a lot of the time when I type the letter D it will sometimes punch it in anywhere from 1 to 5 times, as with a few other keys.
Problem persists through all troubleshooting even a good clean.
