Huion Kamvas Pro 24 (4K) Pen Display

I'm running a mac M1 mini...after numerous weeks of issues with the Huion cutting out..including being sent back to PB Tech ( no fault found) here is what transpired.

As it comes with the HDMI cable and the USB-C cable connected as shown in the booklet it doesn't work with this configuration..this computer.

You need to plug the HDMI as shown but the USB-C needs a USB-A adapter to plug into a USB-A port.

I recently purchased 4 of these graphic tablets for my animation studio. Great drawing surface, and very responsive. Can be used for professional design and animation projects. When I bought the New Huion Kamvas 16" 4k tablet as soon as I took it out of the box, I knew it was too small for me.

At the time I was lucky as PB had a sale on for the Huion Kamvas Pro 24", 4k, so I bought it instantly and as soon as I opened it, I also knew it was the perfect size for me,
so I bought a new Monitor Arm, from PB's as well, it's a Loctek DLB511, with Gas shock, USB socket, 360 degree rotation, to mount it on and it goes together no problem

When I first started looking, I went to the wacom 24", but in NZ I could not justify the price $4k+ without stand, when I use mine just for pleasure and private use.
Also I was Not happy with the quality of the W24 build, and the light leakage at the screen edges. The colours are much more vibrant and brighter on the Huion 24"
due to the Huion having the Quantum Dot Technology which the competition does not.

One other thing that was a deal breaker for me, was that the W24, had noisy fans and they actually come on a lot and I work from home, and that's the last thing I want,
and the Huion does not need Fans, as the design takes cares of any heat with ease, it has never got that hot. Just like electronics they get warm when used a lot and
my Huion is on about 18hrs a day and 7 days a week ok. I also use it as my second screen for streaming and because it also has HDR and the documentaries and sport look awesome.

The Huion has a Matt chemically etched screen, not just a screen film, which is very helpful for not only diminishing the light reflections, but it makes it nicer to draw and paint on,
it feels like paper. I found a gloss screen to be too slippery to draw on. The 4k Resolution is exactly what you would want, excellent close up fine details you can see. At a distance it looks great, but as you know when drawing or painting, yr pretty close to the screen and at lower resolution you can see the pixels, this Huion 24" 4K you can't and combined with the colours and vibrancy the images look gorgeous, really nice.

I use the Pen PW517 which has the pen tech 3, it is an excellent pen with 8192+ Pressure Levels, Tilt to 60+- degrees, Battery Free and it is a pleasure to use. It also has two pen buttons that you can reprogram to whatever you want to use them for, mouse click, to run apps, undo's etc. The Pen is fast and very accurate, and there is No Parallax and No Lag. A lot of the time the lag is due to the software you are using to draw and paint with, so check those as well. The pen is fun to use I really enjoy it, and a quick Tip, try the Felt Tips as I think you will love them, so smooth and nice to use.

After having this Huion Kamvas Pro 24" 4k graphic tablet for over a year now, I am so impressed with the performance and colours of the images I have No hesitation in recommending it. It runs as good today as it did when I first got it. I have to be honest, I am just so thankful I did not go with the competition as I was borderline for a while ok, but now I would say to you, why would you honestly want to spend double the money for less quality and after sales support. I hope that is ok to say here, because I feel it's really important for new customers of this type of product to know, that more money does not always mean better quality or performance. Huion has done an outstanding job of this Kamvas 24" 4k.
I would also like to add that I have also called Huion after sales support several times with questions about various things, and they have been very helpful and always replied to me and answered all of my questions.
PB has been excellent as always and if you go with this Huion I know you will be over the moon with its quality and performance, (oh and it's quietness)
