SATECHI X3 Slim Keyboard - Space Grey

A while back I had a backlit keyboard from Logitech. Sadly, Logi do not make this model any more.

I am using this keyboard on a Windows 10 desktop, iphone, ipad pro with no issues. The packaging did not say it worked with Windows the salesperson said it did. He was right.

The top right corner had easy one touch switching between 4 Bluetooth devices. Just so easy to switch between iphone, ipad and PC. Light touch and backlit. The backlit feature ranges from dim to bright in several steps. Full function wireless keyboard you can also plug in to usb type C to charge. PB Tech have an adaptor to do that.

The build quality is smooth alloy space grey. Has the feel of quality product.

This is an excellent Bluetooth keyboard. The keys feel nice to type on, the battery (built in, not AA or AAA batteries) lasts a long time and can also be connected via USB-C cable (included).
I particularly like the 4 connection buttons that allow you to connect to 4 different devices easilly.
Although it doesn't specifically say it, this keyboard works with Linux as well.
It uses Bluetooth 5, so if you're computer doesn't support BT5.0, it won't work. I had to buy a bt5.0 USB dongle to get it to connect to my old laptop. This is an excellent Bluetooth keyboard. Well laid out and pleasant to type on. The slope of the keyboard perfectly matches a Magic Trackpad if they’re pushed together. The only thing missing from the Apple equivalent is TouchID. The keys are quite clacks and not as quiet as the MacBook Pro keyboard, and the backlight feature is not as elegant because there's a gap between the board and keys, but it does the job well.
The keyboard has a wedge shape so there is some incline to it, but if it isn't enough for you, the brand has kindly packed some 3M hand spheres in a separate little package for you to stick on either end :)
Also, there are four little silicone bumps and two slices of silicone in the middle to grip the keyboard onto smooth surfaces.

Backlight is superb and a huge value add over the Apple Magic Keyboard.

The Satechi X3 Slim keyboard is a solid choice with great battery life and a handy numeric pad, perfect for coding. The ability to switch between four Bluetooth devices with a single key press is very convenient.

However, using the included adhesive feet caused the back to bend over time, and there’s now a slight squeak in the keys. Despite this, it’s reliable, and I’d buy it again. It is so thin and comfortable. The body is made with (it seems like) a solid metal. Nice to look at and nice to use. If you like a thin but solid keyboard, this one is perfect. Great product and worked out to be a lot cheaper than a similar apple version. Feels like a quality project.
