Features
This R/C model assembly kit recreates the Audi 90 quattro Racing, a car which flourished at American races in 1989. Wider than the road car, its muscular form is recreated by a polycarbonate body, with stickers included to recreate sponsor logos, red/silver/black livery sections and more. Separately molded parts for the A pillar ducts, side mirrors and rear wing give an extra level of detail. The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a 251mm wheelbase, and dedicated flat dish wheels have a +4mm offset to go with the wide body.
The shaft-driven 4WD TT-02 chassis employs a longitudinal layout with the battery on the left and the motor on the right, to give excellent stability. In addition, it features identical left and right suspension arms and uprights for ease of assembly, plus easy-to-maintain gearboxes. It is a highly adaptable chassis, as it offers 2 different wheelbases, 2 ground clearance settings and 2 tread set-ups in addition to a range of 10 possible gear ratios. It is not short on looks either, with brake disc-shaped wheel hubs and stylish front bumper supports. White dish wheels use semi-pneumatic slick tires.
Our polycarbonate body accurately captures the bulky, muscular form of this legendary race car.
Stickers are used for the mesh on the air dam spoiler sides, front grill, headlights and more.
A-pillar mounted side mirrors are separate parts. The window net is a sticker.
The 2-level rear wing is molded in red ABS plastic.
The flat dish wheels are a dedicated design with a +4mm offset. Logos are stickers.
Resin ball links in the steering linkage joints make for smooth, comfortable motion.
Wheel hubs are shaped to look like brake discs.
Motor cover includes removable cooling duct (not attached in image).
