The original metal gearbox and metal parts have been replaced by an assembled plastic gearbox equipped with a built-in motor and cables, alongside other plastic components. This update not only enhances safety but also simplifies the assembly process, making the model more accessible to beginners and younger enthusiasts. Additionally, the use of transparent plastics provides a unique benefit-users can observe the internal mechanisms in action, promoting both fun and learning during the assembly experience.

Operating on one separately sold AA battery, the Walking Tyrannosaurus can run continuously for around three hours, delivering both playtime and value.
