First Build
does what it says on the box, no rgb...perfect
Good solid DDR5 RAM
I mean it ain't the fastest of the DDR5's but works great. I was going to do a little overclock on the timing but can't be bothered as it doesn't seem to hold me back at all. That's really all DDR4 has over DDR5 is faster timings but the sheer speed of this just makes that obsolete and worth it for me. I do a lot of work in Excel running calculation codes and this is so much faster than the DDR3 I had on my old system. As others said though, just make sure to set XMP to the right profile in BIOS otherwise it defaults to 4800 MHz.

Cheap DDR5
Does what its supposed to as long as you turn on XMP, there are a few options now for XMP with some boards: Just use XMP option 2 & your done. While I have not overclocked mine I did get a chance to play around with a friends PC using the same ram, reason why I got this was due to his recommendation. Anyway speed doesn't really overclock much if at all, But timings can come down to CL36 quite easy with a voltage increase, CL38 was the sweetspot. But personally I leave mine on XMP still get over 200FPS at 3440x1440 with a 3080 so no need to touch it.
